In the grace of almighty Allah, the Islamic Center of Hawaii has established the FIRST Muslim Graveyard on Big Island, Hawaii. We have purchased one section from the Maunakea Memorial Park, LLC and started the FIRST Muslim graveyard on Big Island, Hawaii naming it "Garden of Paradise".
The Garden of Paradise is located at 27-696 Kaieie Road, Papaikou, Hawaii. The price of $2,500.00 per plot is guaranteed through December 31, 2026, plus digging and processing costs.
Funeral Process
- Graveyard Selection One section of 10 lots at Maunakea Memorial Park; each lot $2,500 plus processing/digging.
- Contact Islamic Center of Hawaii Email admin@ichawaii-tech.site and/or call +1-808-932-7524.
- Reserve a Funeral Home Family contacts local funeral home; typically Ballard Family Mortuaries or Dodo Mortuary.
- Collect Death Certificate & Burial Permit From hospital.
- Perform Ghusl & Janaza ICH coordinates Islamic burial washing and funeral prayer with family and funeral home.
